Fryer’s Cove Vineyards is in the process of preparing our marvelous new Pinot Noir grapes. These grapes will be used to produce our new dry Doringbay Pinot Noir Rose. Grapes are picked by hand and brought to our cellar by the sea in the crates as seen above. Grapes are then sorted and weighed before de-stemming commences (Seen above, the machine in the middle with the corkscrew). After, the grapes are pumped into our cellar to separate the free run juice from the pulp, leaving just enough contact with the skin to create the sought after “pearlescent pink” color.
